In the midst of planning the grand re-opening of their flagship Fullerton McDonalds location, Frisbie Management’s marketing director broke her leg and would be out of work for a while. So they asked DSYL to pick up the project and handle all the advertising, promotion and special event planning for the event.

DSYL designed newspaper ads about the event and placed them in all the local newspapers. We also created a tiered and targeted direct mail postcard campaign that went out both before and after the event. The postcards going out before the event included the invitation and information about the event. While follow up postcards sent out after the event comprised of a message thanking residents for their continued business and featured coupons to create goodwill and follow up sales. DSYL worked with the Fullerton City Council and Chamber of Commerce to have the mayor on hand for the official ribbon cutting. The result was a great turnout and a very successful grand re-opening.
